Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal beatdown strategy helmed by Sunastian Falconer. The game plan focuses on utilizing early ramp spells and the commander's {C}{C} mana production to power out massive, high-impact Dragons ahead of curve. Once online, flying beaters such as Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Savage Ventmaw establish an overwhelming aerial offensive. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Hammer of Purphoros ensure threats connect immediately, while damage multipliers and extra combat effects from Scourge of the Throne accelerate the clock. The deck sustains its hand through big burst draw like Escape to the Wilds and Become the Avalanche, maintaining momentum into the late game. While lacking dedicated stax or stack-based protection, its threat density and combat firepower provide a resilient, straightforward path to eliminating the table through evasive combat damage.
