Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Group Slug and Wheels strategy piloted by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary plan accelerates mana to deploy Nekusar or redundant draw-punishers like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Fate Unraveler by Turn 5. Once a damage engine is active, the deck casts mass draw spells like Incendiary Command, Jace's Archivist, Prosperity, and Skyscribing to burn all opponents simultaneously. The deck features high functional redundancy in damage triggers, backed by a versatile 16-card interaction package including Toxic Deluge, Chaos Warp, and An Offer You Can't Refuse. However, it lacks dedicated tutors to search for wheels on demand, relying instead on natural high-volume draw. Because its forced draw effects continually refill opponents' hands, its key creatures must survive two table rotations under removal exposure before finishing the table around Turn 8. Passive deterrents like Propaganda and Painful Quandary provide defense while the burn engine compounds.
