Talion, the Kindly Lord leads a Dimir Faerie flash/tempo deck. The primary plan is to land Talion early, then use cheap flash Faeries, token generation, and instant-speed interaction to outvalue opponents while accruing small drains from Obyra and Faerie Bladecrafter. Alela, Cunning Conqueror acts as a second commander, rewarding opponent-turn spells with tokens and goading, while Nymris and Wavebreak Hippocamp turn that timing into card advantage. The commander's role is a draw/drain engine: choose a number that matches the table's spells and profit whenever they cast.
