Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Discard Control strategy built around Kefka, Court Mage. The game plan accelerates into a Turn 4 commander cast, triggering immediate symmetric discard and multi-card draw based on revealed card types. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset by attacking with Kefka and resolving asymmetric attrition engines such as Tergrid, God of Fright, Psychosis Crawler, or Dark Deal. These effects systematically empty opposing hands while draining life totals and building overwhelming card advantage. The deck features a robust suite of cheap countermagic and spot removal to defend its board and disrupt opposing combo lines. Without relying on high-density fast mana or universal tutors, the deck achieves victory across Turns 7 and 8 through sustained discard triggers, drain from Fell Specter, and stolen opposing permanents, backed by an incidental infinite flicker loop with Dualcaster Mage and Ghostly Flicker.
