Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Grixis aggro deck commanded by Goro-Goro and Satoru. The strategy leverages a dense suite of unblockable one-mana creatures to enable cheap Ninjutsu activations and trigger the commander's ability. Whenever a creature that entered the battlefield this turn deals combat damage to an opponent, the commander creates a 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit token. By Turn 4, the engine starts creating massive flying pressure while drawing extra cards through combat damage engines like Ingenious Infiltrator, Coastal Piracy, and Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The deck accelerates its clock using extra combat spells like Relentless Assault and Combat Celebrant, closing out games around Turn 7. While the deck boasts efficient removal and solid tempo, it relies heavily on combat connections and remains vulnerable to board wipes and flying blockers.
