Deck overview

This deck utilizes Kaalia of the Vast to cheat formidable Angel, Demon, and Dragon creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. By deploying Kaalia on Turn 4 and swinging on Turn 5, the deck bypasses massive mana costs to put game-ending threats like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary into play. Supplementary combat enhancements like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege double Kaalia triggers, accelerating damage output across the board. While the deck boasts immense aerial pressure, its reliance on a 2/2 commander creates vulnerability to early spot removal and sweepers. A light ramp suite and lack of card draw mean that disruption to Kaalia can stall momentum, stranding expensive threats in hand. However, when protected by spells like Flawless Maneuver or backed by a timely Armageddon, the deck rapidly eliminates opponents through overwhelming evasive combat damage within two to three combat cycles.
