Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Mardu tribal aggro and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages the eminence ability to build a wide creature board from Turn 1 without ever needing to cast its commander. By deploying aggressive low-mana vampires, the deck doubles its board presence on every cast, quickly assembling an overwhelming swarm. The primary win condition uses powerful combat multipliers like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz to eliminate players in rapid succession between Turns 4 and 6. In addition to combat, the deck features aristocrat life-drain engines using Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant, alongside a compact two-card infinite combo between Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond. Excellent mana velocity and high engine recovery make the deck resilient against single-target interaction, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed mass board sweepers.
