Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange deck commanded by Jared Carthalion, combining planeswalker utility, board control, and heavy creature combat. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Jared Carthalion to generate 3/3 all-color Kavu tokens, which are rapidly transformed into massive 8/8 trampling threats using his -3 ability. The strategy is supported by an extensive suite of mass board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Cleansing Nova to keep opposing boards clear, alongside potent standalone threats such as Omnath, Locus of Rage, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn. While the deck possesses explosive mid-to-late game combat power and solid incremental card draw through enchantments and planeswalkers, its low land count of 30 lands and heavy basic land distribution present significant mana velocity and color-fixing hurdles. When properly assembled, the deck grinds down opponents through asymmetric combat pressure, extra combat phases, and persistent counter engines.
