Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Landfall and bounce-engine midrange deck commanded by Genku, Future Shaper. Instead of relying on traditional green ramp, the deck uses land-return mechanics, bounce lands like Azorius Chancery, and flicker effects like Ruin Ghost to repeatedly trigger Genku and create a diverse army of Fox, Moonfolk, and Rat tokens. Card advantage engines such as Caretaker's Talent, Tocasia's Welcome, and Ephara, God of the Polis keep your hand full on both your own turn and your opponents' turns. Weathered Wayfarer and Urza's Cave secure key utility lands like Ghost Town, allowing free token generation across opposing turns. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat damage buffed by Genku's activated ability or Felidar Retreat, while also packing the infinite landfall combo of Retreat to Coralhelm and Ruin Ghost.
