Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Agent of the Iron Throne. The deck builds early momentum using low-cost mana ramp and self-recurring token generators such as Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia. Shadowheart converts these expendable creatures into massive bursts of card draw, digging deeply into premium tutors and reanimation spells. The mid-game is dominated by attrition pieces like Grave Pact and The Meathook Massacre, which strip opposing creatures while Agent of the Iron Throne, Blood Artist, and Zulaport Cutthroat steadily drain life totals. The deck closes games around turn 5 by reanimating game-ending threats like Archon of Cruelty, resolving a devastating Living Death, or executing an instant-win infinite life-drain combo with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose.
