Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a resilient aristocrats and group slug engine commanded by Zoyowa Lava-Tongue. The strategy revolves around the descent mechanic, using sacrifice outlets, self-mill, and fetchlands to ensure permanent cards enter your graveyard every turn. This reliably triggers Zoyowa's end-step ability, forcing opponents into a punishing choice between discarding cards, sacrificing permanents, or taking direct damage. Rather than relying on fragile infinite combos or expensive tutors, the deck deploys self-recurring creatures like Bloodghast, Forsaken Miner, and Reassembling Skeleton that break parity on symmetric edicts such as Braids, Arisen Nightmare and Accursed Marauder. As opposing resources dwindle, damage amplifiers like Bloodchief Ascension, Mayhem Devil, and Mogis, God of Slaughter accelerate life loss across the entire table. The deck features dense spot removal and rapid recovery from board wipes, steadily grinding all three opponents down to zero life.
