Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with damage-triggered draw effects such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, every spell triggers 3 card draws. This creates a self-fueling storm loop where cantrips, rituals, and free spells draw deeper into the library. Vivi's {0} activated ability converts accumulated +1/+1 counters into huge bursts of colored mana, sustaining the storm turn until opponents take 40 lethal direct damage or succumb to a massive Crackle with Power or Grapeshot. The deck supports this game plan with format-ceiling free protection spells like Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, and Force of Will, alongside a secondary infinite mana combo with Quicksilver Elemental.
