Deck overview

This deck is a five-color legendary midrange strategy commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, built around an Angel tribal subtheme and static anthem buffs. The game plan focuses on establishing mana fixing in the early turns through artifacts and lands, deploying Sisay, and growing her power using multicolored legendary permanents and enchantments like Always Watching and Glass of the Guildpact. Once Sisay reaches sufficient power and {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} is accessible, she tutors game-ending combat pieces such as Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Sigarda, Font of Blessings directly onto the battlefield. Without an infinite combo, the deck closes out the game by dealing lethal flying combat damage across consecutive turns, shielded by protective permanents like Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard. While resilient against single-target removal once its protective pieces are established, the deck's reliance on basic lands in a five-color identity and heavy dependence on combat make it susceptible to timely board sweepers.
