Deck overview

This mono-white deck uses Giada, Font of Hope to convert the Angel creature type into a fast, evasive beatdown engine. Giada provides early mana acceleration from the command zone and places +1/+1 counters on each entering Angel based on the number of Angels already on your battlefield. The strategy curves smoothly from low-cost utility creatures like Bishop of Wings and Righteous Valkyrie into imposing aerial threats such as Lyra Dawnbringer, Archangel of Thune, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Life totals quickly rise above starting amounts, enabling massive stat buffs and defensive stability. Asymmetric control pieces including Moat, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, and Angel of Jubilation hinder opposing plans while leaving your aerial assault unaffected. A rich suite of protection spells—notably Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Flare of Fortitude—shields the board against wipes. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents in the air, often culminating in an unblockable swing with Akroma's Will.
