The scarab god by user2303753

Format: Commander

Commander: The Scarab God

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Scarab God is a Dimir zombie value engine rather than a turbo combo deck. Its primary plan is to amass zombies, drain opponents with The Scarab God's upkeep trigger, and then finish with a recursive Gravecrawler loop. Secondary paths are token beatdown with lords and flying through Hordewing Skaab, plus graveyard theft from the commander's activated ability. The commander provides repeatable drain, scry, and reanimation; Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver acts as a lieutenant for extra tokens and cards. There is no double-faced commander, so the deck is built around the single face's upkeep drain. Attack pressure only finishes games when the combo is not assembled.
