Deck overview

This Abzan toughness-matters deck uses Felothar the Steadfast to turn walls and defenders into attackers and into a turbo-draw engine. The core plan is to deploy high-toughness, low-power creatures, use Felothar's activated ability to draw cards equal to toughness while discarding almost nothing, then win with a massive unblockable combat step powered by Behind the Scenes and Akroma's Will. Backup plans include Betor, Kin to All's life-total drain once total toughness reaches 40, and Tree of Perdition to set a player's life to 13 for a short kill clock. The commander is the linchpin for both attacking and drawing.
