Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Ayara, First of Locthwain at the helm of a synergistic Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy. The primary game plan revolves around generating disposable black creature tokens through staples like Dreadhorde Invasion, Endless Ranks of the Dead, and Gisa, the Hellraiser, then utilizing them for card velocity and life-drain triggers. Mana acceleration operates at an honest, on-curve pace through artifacts like Jet Medallion and Bontu's Monument. While lacking tutors and fast combos, the deck achieves steady redundancy in lord effects, graveyard recursion, and creature removal. It wins through compounded combat damage and life attrition, capable of reanimating mass boards with Zombie Apocalypse to seal late-game victories.
