Deck overview

This Commander deck is a Boros Soldier kindred aggro list commanded by Commander Mustard. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient low-drop Soldier creatures and token generators during the early turns, establishing a wide board presence. On turn 5, casting Commander Mustard provides an immediate combat boost by granting all Soldiers vigilance, trample, and haste. On turn 6, the deck reaches critical onset by pairing this wide army with anthem multipliers like Shared Animosity or by activating Mustard's ability to deal noncombat damage on attack. Efficient instant-speed protection spells like Boros Charm and Unbreakable Formation safeguard the board against mass removal, while cards like Loxodon Gatekeeper and Tithe Taker disrupt opposing tempo. The deck reliably closes out games by turn 8 through overwhelming trample combat damage.
