Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari Aristocrats engine led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Chatterfang passively turns every token generated—whether Food, Clue, Treasure, or creature—into additional 1/1 green Squirrels while offering on-demand creature removal. The deck accelerates through land drops and mid-cost ramp into redundant token producers such as Peregrin Took, Tireless Provisioner, and Academy Manufactor. Once a token base is established, it pivots into lethal drains using payoffs like Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats. It can also execute a compact infinite combo between Experimental Confectioner and Peregrin Took to draw the deck and create an unbounded Rat army. While the deck boasts immense redundancy and board-control capability through Chatterfang, it lacks countermagic and stack protection, leaving it vulnerable to timely board wipes.
