Shigeki land fetcher by Rinime_Richie

Commander: Shigeki, Jukai Visionary

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shigeki, Jukai Visionary fronts a mono-green landfall/hydra value deck. Shigeki is the glue rather than the finish line: each turn it can return to hand, reveal four cards, drop an extra Forest tapped, and mill three - a repeatable hybrid of ramp, card selection, and graveyard setup, with the channel side later returning key pieces to hand. The deck plays 45 lands, including 38 Forests, to feed landfall payoffs such as Mossborn Hydra, Lotus Cobra, Sporemound, and Seed the Land, then deploys X-cost hydras - Voracious Hydra, Genesis Hydra, Heroes' Bane - that quickly out-scale combat. Most games end in a giant trampling attack, with backup win paths in Phyrexian Hydra's poison clock, Orochi Hatchery/Howl of the Night Pack go-wide turns, Chalice of Death grinding, and Lair of the Hydra manland beats. It is a grinding midrange/stompy deck: resilient to spot removal via recursion, but with almost no stack interaction.
