Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis reanimator/midrange deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a repeatable hand-refill and Ring-tempt engine. It plans to develop early mana and Ring triggers, cast Sauron to turn hand-discards into four-card draws, then use cheap reanimation spells to put haymakers like Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Terror of the Peaks, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse into play. A secondary Wraith/Nazgul plan uses nine Nazgul, Call of the Ring, and Lord of the Nazgul to build an evasive, growing board. The finishers are a massive Devastating Onslaught copying Terror of the Peaks, a Rise of the Dark Realms turn, or a 9/9 Wraith alpha strike. Interaction is abundant, with counterspells, free spells, and flexible removal supporting a classic Grixis control shell.
