Swarm O’ Demons by andisir

Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker turns a mob of 1/1 Shadowborn Apostles into a reusable sacrifice engine. The primary plan is to assemble six Apostles, sacrifice them to tutor Demons turn after turn, and convert those deaths into life loss through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad. Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Rune-Scarred Demon accelerate the chain, while Liliana's Contract offers an alternate four-Demon win. Shirei's end-step recursion is the central engine; the deck also has one-shot recursion in Victimize and Phyrexian Reclamation. It wins through attrition-damage burn and Demon combat rather than a true infinite combo.
