Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose commands an aristocrats and theft engine that exploits death and resurrection. The deck uses dethrone, backup abilities, and pay-life outlets like Unspeakable Symbol to place plus one plus one counters on your creatures. Free sacrifice outlets like Carrion Feeder, Goblin Bombardment, and Viscera Seer send these modified creatures to the graveyard, triggering Marchesa to return them at each end step. You win by looping enter and death triggers with Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, and Flayer of the Hatebound, stealing opposing threats permanently with temporary steal spells, or overwhelming boards through Bolas's Citadel and Insurrection.
