Deck overview

Squall, SeeD Mercenary commands an aggressive Orzhov reanimator and stax strategy designed to lock down opponents and execute compact combo finishes. Squall's Rough Divide ability grants double strike whenever it attacks alone, allowing its combat damage trigger to fire twice in a single combat step and reanimate two permanents with mana value 3 or less. The deck leverages this efficiency to break parity on oppressive stax pieces like Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, and Oppression, recurring sacrificed removal creatures such as Plaguecrafter and Skyclave Apparition. The primary win condition revolves around putting Warren Soultrader, Forsaken Miner, and Susurian Voidborn into the graveyard via Buried Alive. When Squall connects, both creature pieces return to play to generate infinite Treasure mana, life drain, and crime triggers to finish all opponents simultaneously. Backed by silence effects and robust protection, the deck applies relentless pressure across all game phases.
