Deck overview

This deck is a classic Gruul Dragon Stompy archetype centered around Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient. The game plan focuses on rapid early-game ramp using mana dorks, land search, and cost-reducers to deploy mid-sized Dragon threats on Turns 3 and 4. On Turn 5, the deck casts Klauth, utilizing its innate haste to attack immediately alongside existing creatures. Klauth converts total attacking power into a massive burst of mana, allowing you to flood the board post-combat with game-ending threats like Terror of Mount Velus, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Titan of Industry. While the deck has high combat damage output and solid recovery through graveyard recursion, it lacks stack interaction and creature tutors, making it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and instant spot removal.
