Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the opening turns via efficient ramp and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Urza's Incubator, reaching seven mana on Turn 5. Casting Ureni immediately triggers its ability to dig eight cards deep and put a massive Dragon onto the battlefield for free. High-impact payloads like Atarka, World Render, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Terror of the Peaks rapidly compound flying board presence and deal explosive damage. The deck relies on overwhelming combat steps and attack-triggered value to close out the game over two combat rotations by Turn 7. While the deck boasts high internal redundancy and formidable resilience against single-target disruption through alternate threats, its heavy tap-out nature and lack of protective countermagic leave it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
