Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-red combo strategy helmed by Magda, Brazen Outlaw. The primary plan leverages low-cost Dwarves, Changelings, and non-combat tap enablers like Springleaf Drum and Smuggler's Copter to generate Treasure tokens rapidly. Once five Treasures are accumulated, Magda tutors Clock of Omens directly onto the battlefield. Combining Clock of Omens with an artifact Dwarf such as Universal Automaton allows the deck to tap and untap the Dwarf indefinitely, producing infinite tapped Treasures. Magda then tutors Maskwood Nexus to turn every creature in the library into a Dragon, followed by Terror of the Peaks and the remaining creature suite to deal lethal non-combat damage to all opponents simultaneously. The list supports this fast clock with proactive stax elements like Blood Moon, Defense Grid, and Price of Glory, alongside efficient counter-interaction like Deflecting Swat and Pyroblast.
