Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger strategy built around Vivi Ornitier. The commander acts as both an escalating mana ritual and a table-wide burn engine. On early turns, the deck deploys fast mana and filters through its library with efficient cantrips. Once Vivi is on the battlefield, attaching a damage-trigger aura such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout creates a massive draw engine. Every noncreature spell deals one damage to each opponent and draws three fresh cards. This engine quickly chains through low-cost cantrips, rituals, and mana positive artifacts in a single storm turn. Additional payoffs like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Veyran, Voice of Duality rapidly multiply the burn output to deal lethal damage to all three opponents simultaneously. The deck also carries compact backup infinite loops, including Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity. A dense suite of free counterspells reliably shields the combo turn from opposing interaction.
