Commander: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Jund "lands matter" / sacrifice-value engine deck helmed by Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. The primary strategy is to deploy landfall payoff creatures (Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths), generate a massive board of tokens, and leverage Korvold, Fae-Cursed King as both a card-draw engine and a growing threat. The deck loops lands through the graveyard using Splendid Reclamation, Worldsoul's Rage, and The Gitrog Monster to fuel repeated landfall triggers and sacrifice fodder for Korvold. Pitiless Plunderer and Skullclamp provide additional value and sacrifice outlets. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage from an army of 5/5 Elementals, 4/4 Beasts, and a pumped commander, supplemented by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's life-draining sacrifice ability and Blasphemous Act for board control.
