06) Ureni of the Unwritten - Bracket 3 by user8851428

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon-stompy deck built around Ureni of the Unwritten's ability to turn the top of the library into an endless stream of Dragons. The plan is to accelerate into Ureni on turn five or so, then use his repeated eight-card digs to put one huge flyer onto the battlefield for free with every entrance and attack. The deck backs that engine with haste enablers like Dragon Tempest, Temur Ascendancy, and Rhythm of the Wild, and piles on Dragon-matters force multipliers such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary finishing line is a compact infinite-combat loop with Hellkite Charger plus either Savage Ventmaw or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient; the fallback is simply out-muscling the table with cheating Dragons, 6/6 tokens from Utvara Hellkite, and direct damage from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas.
