Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul "cheat-and-smash" deck helmed by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers, a 7/7 with trample and haste that puts a creature from the top of the library onto the battlefield tapped and attacking each time it attacks. The primary game plan is to ramp heavily, cast the commander on curve, and use its attack trigger to deploy enormous threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Worldspine Wurm, or Darksteel Colossus for free. Extra-combat cards (Port Razer, Scourge of the Throne, Raphael, Tag Team Tough, Last Night Together) chain multiple combats in a single turn, allowing the commander to trigger repeatedly and flood the board. The deck also leverages Doors of Durin and Ilharg, the Raze-Boar as secondary cheat engines. The win condition is overwhelming combat damage, often delivered via trample, double strike, or infect.
