Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Burn strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Wizards and artifacts that generate 0/1 Black Mage tokens or directly damage each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, such as Coruscation Mage, Guttersnipe, Black Mage's Rod, and Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. Casting Kefka, Court Mage on Turn 5 forces every player to discard a card while refilling your hand with fresh draws based on the discarded types. This card advantage allows the deck to chain cheap cantrips, blinks, and interactive spells, steadily draining the entire table's life total simultaneously. Late-game payoffs like transforming Kefka into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, casting Dire Fleet Ravager, or resolving Expropriate close out the match by overwhelming opponents with card draw and direct life loss.
