Deck overview

This mono-blue tempo deck is built around The Mindskinner, turning combat damage into symmetrical table-wide mill. With 10 power and unblockable combat evasion for three blue mana, the commander forces every opponent to mill 10 cards whenever it connects. The deck accelerates this clock by creating nonlegendary token copies of the commander using Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Auton Soldier, and Quantum Misalignment, multiplying mill output to 20 to 40 cards per turn cycle. High-impact spells such as Maddening Cacophony, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, and Terisian Mindbreaker rapidly deplete remaining libraries. A robust mono-blue interactive suite featuring 10 counterspells and bounce effects protects the commander and stalls opposing threats, while pillowfort pieces like Propaganda and Crawlspace limit incoming aggression. The deck executes a focused, non-infinite mill strategy that consistently closes games around Turn 7.
