Deck overview

This deck is a hybrid Voltron and Reanimator strategy commanded by Indominus Rex, Alpha. The primary plan accelerates mana during the opening turns to deploy Indominus on Turn 4. As it enters, you discard multi-keyword creatures such as Sire of Seven Deaths, Venomthrope, and Nightveil Predator, granting the commander a lethal suite of keyword counters—specifically hexproof, indestructible, haste, flying, and trample—while drawing 5 or more fresh cards. This establishes an immediate evasive clock that starts dealing commander damage on Turn 4 while completely restocking your hand. The discarded creatures become prime targets for efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate, Victimize, and Living Death, creating overwhelming board presence on subsequent turns. Built-in protection shields the commander from conventional spot removal and board wipes, while countermagic and blink spells safeguard your development as you close out the table.
