Thranduil, the Elvenking by Lionis

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elfball combo-aggro list. Its primary plan is to fill the graveyard with Elf cards, then use Thranduil's 'all activated abilities of Elf cards in your graveyard' to make infinite mana with Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate, converting it through Jarad or Lathril. The secondary plan is a wide token beatdown using Elf lords, Elvish Warmaster, and landfall token generators. The commander is the draw engine, discard outlet, and combo chassis; there is no hidden commander. Recursion, looting, and green ramp keep the deck on plan even when the commander is answered.
