Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Lagrella, the Magpie alongside a dense suite of blink enablers and Monarch mechanics to grind out overwhelming card and board advantage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana into repeatable flicker engines such as Teleportation Circle and Soulherder, repeatedly triggering enters-the-battlefield abilities on value creatures like Cloudblazer, Spirited Companion, and Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward. As the game progresses, defensive Monarch payoffs like Archon of Coronation, Queen Mother Ramonda, and Dawnglade Regent make it difficult for opponents to reclaim the crown or dismantle the board. The deck pivots into a decisive finish around Turn 6 or 7 by overwhelming the table with flying tokens and casting lethal overrun effects such as Moonshaker Cavalry or stacking counters with Cathars' Crusade. Robust instant-speed blink spells double as protection against sweepers and spot removal.
