Pure necromancy by Jakin

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghoulcaller Gisa

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa is a mono-black Zombie tribal deck built to turn creatures into armies. The primary plan is to flood the board with 2/2 Zombie tokens, pump them with lords and anthems, and attack with menace or swampwalk. Gisa's activated ability is the main engine: sacrifice a high-power creature to create a swarm. Secondary paths include drain finishes from Gray Merchant, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bontu's Monument, plus a Gravecrawler/Warren Soultrader loop that can drain the table. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built around Gisa's ability, with Zul Ashur, Lich Lord as a recursion engine. The deck is midrange, wins through combat around turn 8, and can rebuild after wipes.
