Deck overview

Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms is a mono-red Equipment-voltron commander who cheats Equipment directly onto the battlefield from the top six cards whenever he enters or attacks. The deck accelerates with rituals, fast mana, and lands that produce extra red mana to cast Gilgamesh ahead of curve, then uses his attack trigger to assemble a critical mass of Equipment. The primary win is commander damage through unblockable or double-strike Equipment, with extra combat steps multiplying Gilgamesh's attack triggers and damage. Secondary paths include Godo plus Helm of the Host for infinite combat steps, and a large equipped creature such as Kaldra Compleat or Excalibur. The deck is heavily dependent on Gilgamesh, but includes enough Equipment and token makers to function at a reduced level without him.
