Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis cheat and reanimation strategy led by Obeka, Brute Chronologist. The central game plan uses temporary cheat and reanimation effects—such as Sneak Attack, Goryo's Vengeance, Shallow Grave, and Feldon of the Third Path—to deploy game-ending creatures ahead of curve. When delayed sacrifice or exile triggers go on the stack at the beginning of the end step, Obeka activates to end the turn, permanently keeping those threats on the battlefield. Backed by token multipliers like The Master, Multiplied and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, the deck converts early explosive plays into overwhelming board presence and combat damage. Efficient free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship defends the setup, while severe attrition engines such as Archon of Cruelty and Valgavoth, Terror Eater dismantle opposing game plans.
