The Great Work - sleeved by OctalPlains

Format: Commander

Commander: Urabrask // The Great Work

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red spellslinger deck wins by stacking pingers that deal damage each time you cast an instant or sorcery, then chaining cheap burn and looting spells to drain all three opponents. Urabrask front face adds incremental ping and red mana and flips after three spells into The Great Work Saga for removal, Treasures, and a one-turn graveyard flashback window. Secondary paths use damage amplifiers like City on Fire, Fated Firepower and Hawkeye to triple pings, and a Past in Flames or Saga Chapter III storm turn with Grapeshot. Guttersnipe acts as a hidden commander, providing the most efficient repeatable drain that the deck can function around even without Urabrask.
