Deck overview

This deck executes a mono-green storm strategy centered on Aeve, Progenitor Ooze. The primary game plan utilizes high densities of low-cost mana dorks, land untappers, and cost reducers to cast multiple spells in a single turn. Once storm count is built, casting Aeve floods the battlefield with massive, non-legendary ooze tokens that quickly overwhelm opposing life totals. The list also features a compact two-card infinite combo between Food Chain and the commander, generating arbitrary creature mana and unbounded ooze tokens. While the deck boasts explosive mana velocity and high board-state lethality, it lacks direct creature tutoring and native haste enablers outside of Concordant Crossroads. Consequently, the deck typically requires passing the turn after an Aeve deployment, leaving its expansive creature board vulnerable to sorcery-speed board wipes. Interaction focuses heavily on artifact and enchantment removal, leaving stack defense and creature control relatively light.
