Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund "blitz-value" deck built around Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. The plan is to accelerate with one-mana mana dorks, land Henzie early, then repeatedly cast expensive creatures with blitz so they attack with haste, die on schedule or to sacrifice outlets, and replace themselves with a card. The primary win is attritional: repeated Kokusho, the Evening Star and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains, huge hasty attacks from Etali, Primal Conqueror and Archon of Cruelty, and mass-reanimation finishes through Living Death or Bringer of the Last Gift. There are no compact infinite combos in the list; instead, the deck wins by burying opponents in card advantage, mana, and recursion. The commander is the engine - without Henzie's blitz, the big-mana plan loses most of its speed and card flow, but the reanimation package can still execute at a slower pace.
