Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu Equipment Voltron strategy built around Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale. It uses Knight tribal synergies and dedicated equipment tutors to bypass expensive equip costs, turning weapons like Colossus Hammer and Blackblade Reforged into instant massive power buffs. Syr Gwyn serves as both a cost-cheat engine and a reliable card draw engine whenever equipped creatures attack. Backup threats such as Danitha, Benalia's Hope, Halvar, God of Battle, and Phyrexian Crusader ensure the deck maintains heavy offensive pressure even if the commander is removed. While the deck boasts strong single-target creature exile and defensive equipment like Commander's Plate, it relies on combat damage to eliminate opponents across multiple turn rotations.
