Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf/Faerie tribal value deck helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The core engine is Maralen's ETB trigger: every Elf or Faerie that enters exiles the top two cards of an opponent's library, and Maralen lets you cast one spell from among those exiles each turn with a mana value equal to or less than your Elf/Faerie count. The deck's plan is to go wide with token generators - Bitterblossom, Dwynen's Elite, Lys Alana Huntmaster, Imperious Perfect, Faerie Slumber Party, and Notorious Throng - then turn the board lethal with a dense lord suite (Elvish Archdruid, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, Scion of Oona, Morcant's Loyalist, Leaf-Crowned Visionary). Primary win conditions are combat damage from a swarm, Lathril, Blade of the Elves's ten-elf activation (10 life to each opponent), and a Notorious Throng prowl extra turn to chain a final swing. Maskwood Nexus and changelings unify both tribes, supercharging Maralen's count.
