Deck overview

This deck executes a mono-green Voltron and Stompy strategy headed by Wilson, Refined Grizzly and the Background Raised by Giants. Wilson enters on Turn 2 with an exceptional suite of built-in keywords: uncounterable casting, vigilance, reach, trample, and ward {2}. On Turn 5, deploying Raised by Giants turns Wilson into a massive 10/10 Giant Bear, immediately threatening lethal commander damage within two combat connections per opponent. The deck supplements its commander-centric assault with high-synergy equipment like Belt of Giant Strength and Blackblade Reforged, team-wide power multipliers like Unnatural Growth, and massive standalone beaters such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Gigantic Big Bear. Low-cost defensive instants like Heroic Intervention and Tamiyo's Safekeeping protect the board from removal, while Primal Order taxes nonbasic mana bases. The deck wins by applying relentless combat pressure across sequential turns.
