Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis tribal-aristocrats list piloted by Wick, the Whorled Mind. The primary strategy focuses on assembling low-cost Rat generators like Lord Skitter, Sewer King and Piper of the Swarm alongside mana acceleration to deploy Wick on Turn 4. As subsequent Rats enter the battlefield, Wick stacks +1/+1 counters onto a single Snail token. On Turn 5, Wick's activated ability sacrifices the enlarged Snail to deal symmetrical direct damage to all opponents while refilling the pilot's hand with fresh gas. The deck converts this massive card advantage into game-ending burn via Mirkwood Bats, board wipes with Massacre Wurm, or exponential combat overruns with Marrow-Gnawer, eliminating the table by Turn 6. Supported by elite free interaction (Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick) and asymmetric denial (Vren, the Relentless, Grave Pact), the deck delivers resilient pressure and flexible angles of victory.
