Format: Commander

Commander: Kosei, Penitent Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green Voltron deck focuses entirely on unlocking and scaling Kosei, Penitent Warlord. To trigger Kosei combat ability, Kosei must simultaneously have an Aura attached, an Equipment attached, and at least one counter. Once all three conditions are met, connecting in combat draws cards equal to the combat damage dealt and deals that same damage to every other opponent. The game plan focuses on rapidly assembling these three modifications using cheap enablers, granting evasion through trample or unblockability, and scaling power exponentially with effects like Hydra Growth, Colossification, or Fractal Harness to eliminate the entire table in one swing.
