Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs The Second Doctor and Donna Noble in a group-hug damage-redirection strategy known as Spite Pillowfort. In the early game, the deck accelerates mana with low-cost rocks and establishes symmetric draw engines alongside The Second Doctor. This provides card advantage, removes maximum hand sizes, and discourages attacks by forcing opponents to choose between drawing cards or forfeiting their attacks against you. While opponents develop their boards, the deck deploys spite creatures such as Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, and Phyrexian Vindicator. The mid-to-late game culminates in casting massive symmetric damage spells like Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, and Star of Extinction. Donna Noble and her soulbonded partners absorb this damage and redirect it directly at opponents' life totals, creating lethal damage bursts. Supported by efficient counterspells, instant protection, and the Guilty Conscience combo, the deck smoothly converts incoming and outgoing damage into a decisive win.
