Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck commands Bruenor Battlehammer to execute an aggressive, highly focused Voltron game plan. The strategy leverages Bruenor's cost-cheating equip ability and substantial power buffs to turn combat into a lethal clock as early as Turn 5. Dense functional redundancy across equipment—featuring double strike, trample, and unblockable modifiers—ensures consistent combat threat scaling, while dedicated equipment tutors like Steelshaper's Gift and Fighter Class secure key utility pieces on demand. The deck features an explosive infinite combat combo between Aggravated Assault and The Reaver Cleaver, capable of closing out the entire table in a single turn once a creature connects for five or more damage. While lacking stack-based interaction for opposing spell combos, the list compensates with premium one-mana creature exile spells and a robust defensive suite including Dawn's Truce, Flawless Maneuver, and Mithril Coat to shield its commander through multi-turn combat rotations.
