Casting Storm by Karma_086

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck focuses on Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder to execute explosive cascade turns. You aim to ramp quickly, connect with Yidris in combat, and cast spells that cascade down into more spells. This builds massive storm counts and overwhelming board states in a single postcombat main phase. The primary paths to victory involve mass creature assaults via cascade chains with Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, and extra combats from Full Throttle. Secondary win conditions include storm payoffs like Aeve, Progenitor Ooze, Thousand-Year Storm copying lethal burn spells, or milling out with Brain Freeze into Laboratory Maniac.
